is a 5 hr stretch of sleep too long for a 3 wk old?

I got B to sleep at 11 last night. At about 2:30 I heard some grunts and sounds- which at 3.5 hrs was normal. Well he fell back asleep and next thing i know it is almost 4am and I of course start watching him like crazy to make sure he is ok and freaking out about needing to bf him.

when did your LO sleep longer?

That can be normal for some babies, I think DD slept that long around that time. A friend of mine's baby was 1 and half weeks old when she was sleeping that long occasionally. Consider yourself lucky:)

You may want to post on 0-6 but our child care class lady told us if the baby sleeps a long time at night between feedings, don't wake it. It will let you know when its hungry.
