I wonder sometimes what people are thinking

when they name their kids.  Two names that I have seen tonight that are unique are: Vaye and Daeson.

    I guess they feel those names fit their DC and family. I thought we'd go with Abigail/Hannah/Allison,etc but when we found out we were having a girl for sure "Teagan" just "fit" her kwim? My mother thought it was a made-up name until I told her it's in most baby books and Welsh for "beautiful."

    Teagan was our girl name.  :)

    I know though, I read the baby names board and just hit my hand to my forehead.  They probably look at my ticker and think " WTF Bittch, your kid is named River!  Who are you to judge Mailiaiah or Nevaeh-Sue"

    LOL I am the same way. I have a list of "unique" names for our next DC but about 75% of the "WDYT?" on baby names get a "no way!" from me.

    I've wanted a (future)son named River since I was like 13 haha. i PPH it, SO does not.

    I don't understand how a name can fit a child that has not even been born.  I understand a name fitting once they see the baby but not before.
