Celebrate with me please! DS is 8lbs now!! :)

lol sorry I just needed to celebrate with ladies who understand! My mom and DH were pretty excited with me. However, I was bummed when someone commented "I'm sorry...so he is like a newborn now...hmmm how much longer until he catches up?"

REALLY??!!! It's so awesome that he is 8lbs. I've been so worried since he came home that he was not eating enough. We have had so many whiny feedings etc and with breastfeeding you never can tell how much they are eating.

Anyways he left the NICU on 6/12 weighing 5lbs 11oz and now as of today he is 8lbs. I just wanted to dance my way out of the pedi office. it was so reassuring to know that he is gaining weight and getting stronger.
