Does anyone know if a UHaul truck would comfortably (or legally) seat 2 adults and an infant carseat in the cab? I've never rented one and DH's family seems to think this would be an adequate travel method for our 30 hour cross-country move. I, on the other hand, am not so sure. Any opinions??? TIA.
Re: Baby in a UHaul???
regardless of legal/safe/fitting..the thought of 30 hours...
HELL NO!
this
A. yes its legal to have a carseat in the front seat of a truck.
B. 30 hours, oh helllllz no
Lol....it's like you're reading my mind. I LOATHE even the mere thought of making this move.
I have rented a Uhaul before and they have 2 bucket seats. No bench seat.
And 30 hrs? Holy shitt. I say you and LO fly and DH can drive the truck.
That's what I was thinking. I don't feel like riding in the middle of a bench seat for 3 days.
i have a few more choice thoughts about the thought of driving across kansas like that. i vow to NEVER do that again.
This will be the 5th time I've driven from KS to CA or vice versa. I absolutely don't ever want to do it again....ever.
This was my recommendation. I was laughed at. I don't understand why everyone thinks it's a good idea to drive our child halfway across the country in a cramped moving van, but me.
