Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Would you send them to daycare like this?

K has his once a week Mother's Day Out program tomorrow. ?He's had?diarrhea?off and on all weekend. ?His last poop explosion was this morning. He hasn't been running a fever at all, but has been a little more clingy than usual. ?Assuming we don't wake up to find him swimming in a sea of his own butt juice tomorrow and he's still not running a fever, do you think it would be okay to send him?

  • Could it be teething????

  • If he doesn't have a big poop in the morning, I  would send him just because it's been 24 hrs and no temp.

  • If it's been a few days, yes I would. DS had a bug that left him with diarrhea for almost 2 weeks. Once his fever broke (after the first 2 days), he was back at daycare. Diarrhea can be a lingering effect of a bug that has already passed, kwim?

Not unless it's his 2 yo molars already (and so help me God). ?All of his teeth are already in.?

Ditto everyone else - if he doesn't have a fever, I'd send him.

  • LOL at "swimming in a sea of his own butt juice"

I'd send him as long as he wasn't running a fever or leaking out of his diapers.
