NTR: I love my steam mop

It's the Shark Steam Mop. I got it for my bday. My sis bought it at costco. I love that I don't have to use chemicals on the floor. So convenient. I think I will actually mop the floors more with this. I recommend it.

  • oooh, does that one come with the attachments that allow you to get into crevices??? I saw it on TV and the crevice cleaner bit reeeeaaally had me but I didn't jump on it for fear it's all a scam.

  • No and now I want that. :( It really does work. I think the one I got was about $60-80.

I'm glad you posted this.  I was going to post to see if people love theirs or if they are just ok.  I just emailed DH that it's what I want for my birthday!!  Who knew a mop could be so exciting!

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE ours too!

Started out with the cordless vac for all the gook under the table after each meal. ?

Loved it so much I had to get the steam mop too.

I mop wayyyy more often now.

    It's so quick and easy!

A friend expressed concern that it might damage our wood floors but we're already in need of a screen and re-polly so it works for us for now. ?(and so far no visible damage!)

    ?

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
  • glad to know you like it.  does it take longer than a normal mop?  for some reason, I feel like the steam would take longer.   I need something that makes me want to mop; our floors get so dirty.  is it good for all floors?  we have tile.

  • I also love mine, and it is actually faster, IMO, than a regular mop... I used to always get on my hands and knees to mop because that's the only way it felt really clean.  The shark is awesome!  Super fast, heats up in like 30 seconds, and hold enough water for me to do my entire kitchen (linoleum)  and most of my entry way and hall bathroom (hard wood).  My mom has tile, and it works great for her (she's the one that introduced me to it).
  • I love ours too!  I find it super quick, and it 'heats' up much faster than I expected (it's ready to go in 30 sec.).  I find that I mop WAY more than before because it's so easy!  LOL...the company should pay us for all these endorsements.
  • I agree that it is faster and more convenient than mopping. No bucket and you can throw the pad in the wash. It is ready in literally 30 seconds.

  • So glad somebody posted this because we are moving soon to a house that has more tile than our current one and I was JUST thinking about buying this. So it cleans with just hot water? This might be a silly question, but is that enough to get a good cleaning/disinfecting? I guess I have always felt I need the cleaning liquid...
