  Hi girls. Sorry for the delayed post and also for the funky format. I am posting from my parents computer and I couldn't get my format to take.

  I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. We're enjoying our mini vacation and will be back at work on Wednesday.

  Oh, and I forgot the QOTD....

  Are you planning to do any childbirth classes?

  Right now we are planning to take some sort of childbirth class. We were going to take the class that the hospital offers, but i want to look into the Bradley Method before we make our decision. If anyone has any recommendations for Bradley method classes in the Seattle area or for great books about it, I'm all ears and would appreciate the information. TIA!!!

  I'm going to take the hospital childbirth class and probably a class on the Bradley method.  I'm not sure yet.  I was told to start looking into classes around 20 weeks so maybe next week I'll start this process.

  After 2 m/cs, dx October 2008 with hetero factor v leiden & mthfr & low progesterone; third time was the charm - BFP 3/19/09 on first cycle of clomid.

  I was planning on it but they're completely booked up... The class I want to take is booked until 2010!  I guess I didn't realize I had to sign up the second I got my BFP!

  QOTD: We're planning on doing a birth preparation class at the hospital we're delivering at, which is a weekend-long class in September.  I'm also doing a one-night breastfeeding class.

  There are a couple of classes through the hospital that we'll be doing. I'm sure I will have to drag DH kicking and screaming, but I think he needs them! LOL

  Yeah, we are going to take the childbirth class at the hospital, considering taking the child CPR class as well, not sure yet.

  No, we took the classes when I was pregnant with my first DS, so we don't plan on taking any this time around. I *might* take a breastfeeding class, but am on the fence about that right now.

  I actually have my next appt. next Monday, July 12th for the big U/S and full anatomy scan, 2nd round of bloodwork with the perinatologist. I am REALLY excited and anxious for this week to fly by so we can see the baby again and hopefully, confirm whether or not it is a boy or if we will be surprised with a girl!?

  We had a great weekend sharing the news of our little boy with friends and family. ?I already got some cute outfits as gifts. ?My aunt also took me maternity clothes shopping so I feel very lucky today. ??

  Now that we are through are big u/s we are thinking about everything we have to do including classes. ?We're going to take birthing class, breastfeeding class and baby care basics. ?

  I like this posting time!  I don't have to look for the post on the previous page when I get up!  (just wanted to give you a plus side to the later post time )

  we plan on taking a baby care class, a hospital tour and a nursing class.  I didn't want to do the birthing class because I didn't want to give up one of my saturdays or have to move my schedule around to take an evening class for 4-6 weeks.  Hopefully, I'll get what I need from books and instinct on giving birth.

  QOTW: We are taking a 5 session class in September and I will be taking a 1 session class on breast feeding. In addition to that, I am taking a class on cloth diapering this month to investigate the different kinds available.

  We have our childbirth class in two weeks - Sat, July 18. We opted for the one-day, 6 1/2 hour class - it's on labor and childbirth and includes a tour of the birthing center. I might also take a breastfeeding class, not sure yet.

  Similar to PPs, we are taking the childbirth class offered at the hosptial, a CPR/infant/child class, and tour of the maternity ward. That's enough for us!

  Hope everyone had a great weekend! We have our big u/s scheduled on Wed and I can't wait. Baby has not been cooperative, as far as findining out gender, at our last 2 u/s; so I'm just hoping this week will be a different story!

  Hi ladies!  I'm not sure if we are planning on taking any classes or not yet.  I keep thinking that we don't really need them and from all my mommy-friends they all say it's a waste of time but this is our first baby so I can't imagine we'll take away NOTHING from the class.   Hmmm, what to do...

  My cousin did this method.  She was very happy with it.  The group she was in was a very close knit group.  They all stll get together with their little "bradley babies".

  Things here are great!  It is so neat to see all the "team" announcements. 

  I do not plan on taking any classes.  With DH and I schedules, time and money - we decided not to.  I figure it will all go out the window in the heat of the monent anyway.  Hopefully I will have some great nurses coaching me. :-)

  I'm still undecided. I took one before having ds, 9yrs ago- but I am guessing dh really won't be into it- but we will see! I would like to see if they offer any breastfeeding classes around here though- that might be helpful

  I can't believe this is my last week in 2nd tri!!! Wow!

  As far as birthing classes.. yes, we are taking them next month. I hope they are helpful and that DH and I don't laugh the whole time!
