teething or growth spurt?

Help!!! Ava has all of a sudden (since Wed night) decided to start fighting us when we put her to bed at night and she's also waking up at least once. She's been STTN for over a month now and all of a sudden... it's killing us!

We've been trying to follow Ferber like we did the first time but it's not working. She gets histerical and we end up giving in and rocking her to sleep. I've tried giving her tylenol before bed but it doesn't seem to be helping either.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! How long should we expect this to last?

Oh yeah, took her to the dr on Thursday and she's healthy except for a little bit of sinus congestion.

DD did that at 7 months and it was teething- it sucked! She never chewed on anything, so we really didn't know what it was. Tylenol helped, but only once the tooth was through. It was better once the tooth was through, but honestly her sleep was screwed up for 2 months

The congestion could have turned into an ear infection, so keep an eye out for her pulling her ears and you might give the pedi a call just to be safe.

So happy to see that I might get some sleep in the near future. We are going through this right now and it's been tough. She was such a good sleeper, and now, not so much. Teething is the pits.

Teething. DD is doing it again, even though her fourth tooth just popped through. I think she's on to her eye teeth now.

For us, the first two teeth it was just a few nights per tooth. This time, the first top tooth came through the same way, but the second one dragged out for like 2 weeks. Torture. I'm hoping this next set of teeth are quick and she gives us (and herself) a break. It's been 2 nights so far. I hate drugging her to make her comfortable.
