Twin table-anyone have this?

Have any of you other MoM's used one of these instead of two seperate high chairs?

https://www.justmultiples.com/twin-table.html

How did it work for you, how long were you able to really use it and was it worth it. ?We're trying to decide the best way to go, two highchairs, two portable booster seat type chairs, or this. ?Any advice is appreciated! ?TIA!?

Re: Twin table-anyone have this?

  • I had not seen that before... I have two high chairs and think that it works well. I can roll them around the kitchen and put them in different spots. I have ones that recline so I have been using them for a few months now and my boys like to hang out and play with toys in them while I am attempting to get things done in the kitchen. Mine are graco....

  • my friend with quads has the 4-kid version of that. i wouldn't use it for just twins, because 2 of the space saver high chairs are going to use less room.

my friend says her girls fight over food, steal from each other, and it's messy. she doesn't like hers (but with four she doesn't have much choice) so with twins i'd skip it.

  • We use 2 FP Healthy Care Boosters...they attach to a regular chair. We have used them since the boys were 6 months old and still use them now (they are almost 3). I LOVE them and wouldn't use anything different (in fact, I bought 2 highchairs at one point and only used them for a week or two and went right back to the boosters..I liked the boosters so much better). The boosters take up less room, too. If you have a ton of extra space, I guess that twin table would be fine, but it isn't all that attractive, imo.

ETA: Also, the boosters are made of plastic and can easily be wiped down. They can also be cleaned in the dishwasher...which I love. They are not as bulky as the space-savers and easier to transport (great for travel), although I hear good things about the space-savers, too.

  • Yeah, ditto peakay.  I think it would be pointless with twins and have a short shelf live.  My girls are 13 months and we are thinking that by Christmas they will be getting their own little table for eating and we will stash the highchairs away.

  • if i had 3 or more i'd get one of those- but for twins it seems like a bigger waste of space than 2 high chairs.

they are great for lots of kids (i have used them working in daycare for 6 kids at a time, etc)... but i think with twins it would be even harder- b/c they can reach each other's food that way - and will steal, etc.... in separate high chairs you can keep them apart better :)

  • Thank you.  I hadn't thought about the stealing food issue.  We don't have a huge amount of space and the table isn't the nicest looking so I think we'll go with something else.  My sister uses the FP booster that you attach to a chair as well and loves it, she never even uses her regular high chair anymore, maybe we'll just go with those.  Thanks fo the help!
  • i love the idea of that table. I've seen them at daycares. If they were something I could register for at BRU I would!
