30th Bday party...ideas needed!

DH's bday is coming up and he will be the big 30!! I need ideas on things as far as what to do as in party/activities/dinner wise!

    That is what my sister suggested but DH isn't into cards or whatnot...... :( He makes this all very hard! lol?

    I wanna take DH on a cruise for his next b-day. I've been dying to go on a cruise to the Caribbean so I will surprise him with a mini vacation. Can't wait!

    ahh that just makes me jealous! I would love to go on a nice vacation with DH, but don't see it happening anytime soon! lol?

    we didn't do anything for Dh's 30th birthday this year but for his 27th we did a big luau party. Everyone dressed in tropical shirts or grass skirts, we had leis, mai tais, sex on the beach drinks on tap,

    I decorated with the leis, hibucus flowers, grass skirting, grass umbrellas,  ukuleles, and monkeys. I also hung a blue tarp in the garage with seahorses, starfish, and dolphins attached to it...it served as decoration and to hide our lawnmowers, etc.

    For food we did pineapple teraki burgers and various salads. We had laua style paper plates & napkins. I also got hibuscus flowered straws and coconuts to drink out of too.

    Oriental trading has a lot of decorations as well as any party store near you. The party was a lot of fun and people still talk about it.

    For entertainment we had my uncle's dj equipment, did a limbo contest(prize was beach towels), and had a bonfire at night.

    We did a scavenger hunt/dinner for a friend.  There was about 5 or 6 teams, men did the searching....women did clues in ea spot.  Drove all around town, very fun! then ended up at resaturant.....it was hilarious!  We even made up tshirts for all scavengers to wear!
