What do you use for babies to sleep in when away from home?

...we have always just brought 1 pack and play but I think we need to start separating the babies.  Is there any special ones of twins?  Any pack and plays that are easy to travel with?

  • We bought a full size playpen (square shape). We used it for MANY trips- sometimes they squirmed and kicked eachother, but it was better than taking 2 along!
  • Loading the player...
  • we have three pack n plays that we use. there are also these things called pea pods that people swear by, but i dunno.

  • We use two PNPs, too.

  • We have always taken 2 PNPs- just used them for two weeks at the shore.  I try and pad the mattresses a little to make them more comfortable, putting mattress pads under the sheets.  They work great and really fold up pretty small.

I should say they worked great until my girls climbed out of them on the last day of vacation.....lol.

  • We just got the peapods and the girls LOVE them.  They fold out into a bag, so they dont take up a lot of room and you can zip them up, the peapod is made of mesh material, so you dont have to worry about the babies climbing in and out.

We actually keep one set up in our playroom since the girls love it so much.
