Anyone else's first few post-partum AFs super heavy?

My first (last month) lasted for like two weeks and was really heavy. I'm hoping it won't last as long this month, but man alive! I am changing out super absorbency tampons like every few hours!

Anyone else have super heavy AFs post-partum? If so, how long did they stay that way for? I know they eventually went back to normal after Nora, but don't remember how long it took.

    YES!  It's disgusting.  I've only had 2 pp periods and both have been pretty bad.  I'm also not on the pill and thought maybe that had something to do with it.  I've basically been pregnant or on the pill for years until now.  I'm due to start any day now and I'm hoping round 3 will be more manageable.

    Yup..disgustingly heavy. It lasted a while...I don't remember ever going back to normal, but it was like the first 6-7 that were really bad. I haven't gotten my first PP AF yet this time around..weird.

    Yep, my first one was a muther. ?I seriously thought I was bleeding to death. ?O.k. Not really, but sort of. ?The subsequent period(s) was much better! ?
