Dh thinks it's too feminine, but we just bought the Serena and Lily William bedding, and it's shown with white funiture. I think it looks better in white. What do y'all think?

We are investing in a build to grow crib (converts to a full bed over time) and getting a matching dresser so a white set (we are having a boy) in our case, white would be too feminine. We are looking at a coffee or light cherry color.
I'm not really a big fan of white cribs esp for boys but as long as you're not getting a convertible crib (so he won't have white furniture growing up) I'm sure it is fine!
We are getting white furniture no matter what. If we have a boy there is a nautical themed set I really like and it looks great with white. The crib will be convertible so it may be theirs their whole life (unless it goes to the next child). IMO white furniture does not look feminine, especially when paired masculine bedding- but I'm probably in the minority here.
I have been debating the same thing. I think that the more modern cribs, like the one shown with the bedding you chose, is absolutely masc. enough for a boy. Obviously there are some cribs, that would just look entirely too fem. for a boy, IMO. But just remember, even if you do end up getting a white convertible crib with the hopes of using it as your child grows, white furniture is easiest to paint!
I really don't understand the white crib = feminine thing at all. I think it looks best with white for sure!
That is how I feel. It probably helps that almost all the baby boys I have known have had white furniture, so I've never thought of white as being feminine.
Our crib is white (we didn't know until DS was born he was a boy). He will be transitioning into the white queen sleigh bed that is in the room. The dresser and changing table are white as well. I think white furniture is just fine for a boy. Our nursery is gender neutral at the moment (PBK Twinkle Twinkle), but I just ordered new bedding for both the crib and the bed that is more boyish. I say go for white if you like it.

I never heard that boys shouldn't have white cribs until I was on this site. Don't worry about it. I think that's the silliest "requirement" ever. White is definitely NOT just feminine, that's for sure!
I have that exact bedding and a white crib for a boy. I love it!
See? Nothing about this nursery looks "feminine". It looks all boy to me. I have never heard of white furniture being feminine. In fact, I ordered white for my LO's nursery.

totally agree. White is a color just like espresso or black. I say if you like it, go for it!
Re: White cribs for boys?
We have a white crib. The bedding is blue, the walls are blue. It is definitely a boy nursery.
And white looks beautiful with that bedding in the pic!
