NBR: Dogs and fireworks!

My poor pup hates fireworks. She is barking her head off! My other dog will start up when they get real loud. It is going to be a long night!!!

    My dog usually freaks out about fireworks, and since someone's bottle rocket landed in the yard with her last night i thought she's be freaking out, but amazingly, she hasn't barked at all yet.  Hopefully she won't though.

    i don't understand the point of fireworks when it is still light out!  hope your dogs make it through okay.

    My dog barks at the fireworks non stop, unless he is on my lap or next to me.  So that is where he has been most of the night!  Poor guy.

    I guess I'm lucky.  My dog seems to care less about fireworks.  We actually took her with us to watch the display and she just layed on the blanket with us.  Now she's passed out in her normal place, near the treat jar.  Try slipping your dog a benadryl next year to knock him out.

    Ugh! Someone was putting off firecrackers last night for 2 1/2 hours! My cat is soooo scared of them too. I wanted to strangle them! They were doing it at 12 am too. I just thought it was inconsiderate for them to be setting them off so late. DH kept calling me grandma, but whatever they were annoying. haha

    My Lab barked and the schnauzer just enjoyed the show.
