How often do you get up just to check on DC? The girls are almost a year old and I still go in the check on them several times before I go to bed and I wake up twice to check on them over night AND if dh wakes up, I send him to check on them. I wonder when this stops?

Re: Checking on baby
Hey girl.
If I hear nothing, we just periodically check the video monitor that we keep with us all night and just go to bed. We usually do not physically go in to check unless they are uncontrollably crying/sick something like that.

j/k Maybe I need a video monitor
I go in when he cried but since he isn't STTN yet. When he goes longer than 4 hours I go check on him and normally within 20 minutes he wakes up and cries

i check on them about 20 minutes after i know they are asleep, and then once before i go to bed..unless something is going on, like they are sick or something..then i go check on sniffly noses, whatnot..
usually, i just don't wanna push my luck with waking them up! i do like to see their sweet sleeping faces though

Aw Tina! ;-)
Everyone's style, as you can see from the responses, is different.
My girls have been STTN for a long time--usually once they go down, they are down and no need to go in there and chance one or both of them waking up. The video monitor has been a godsendl. We can always see what's going on with both of them.
