serious tmi question

Just looking for reassurance on this one...

9 weeks today. I had some spotting yesterday that started pink and turned brown as the day went on. This has happened before, so I'm not really worried-- especially because it hasn't gotten worse. AND I already have an ultrasound scheduled for Monday anyway. HOWEVER... last night, after the spotting had gotten very light and turned a gross brown color, a hideous squishy black clot about the size of a pea came out of me (without additional blood). The doctor said it was no cause for concern, but it still really freaked me out. As far as I know, my body has never produced anything like that before.

This may sound just a bit demanding, but reassure me!! Please! Pat my head and say pretty things until the freakedoutedness has passed...

I think if your doctor said you shouldn't be concerned, I wouldn't worry about it. Easier said than done, I know.

I had one of those clot thingies. I found it in my panties one night, and immediately went into panic mode. Everything was fine; I had an ultrasound to confirm that my little gummy bear is just fine.
