Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

update on spotting - whew!

You ladies were right. I went in for an examination due to light (brown) spotting. Unless it's "bright red and heavier than a period", there is no need to panic - even accompanied by mild cramping. Peri did a pelvic exam as well as a u/s. My cervix is in long and hard (?). The reason for the spotting is the location of Baby A's placenta laying on the cervix.

Thanks for the encouragment and support!

  • I didn't see your first post, but I'm glad that things turned out well for you.  I will always have bad thoughts whenver I hear "brown spotting" from now on, but it really is normal a lot of the time.  Take care.

  • I am so glad. I have been searching for this update, I missed it before and I have been thinking about you all weekend.  I am so happy that it was just the other placenta.  You and baby b are in my prayers.  Hugs.
