What's on your list? Am always hunting for new reads!?
"Develop an interest in life as you see it; in people, things, literature, music -- the world is so rich, simply throbbing with rich treasures, beautiful souls, and interesting people. Forget yourself." - Henry Miller
Well this I read last summer but it is SOOOO good and everyone who reads it likes it, Water For Elephants. For something light, I read the entire Twilight series. I am reading the OUtliers now, which is very interesting but not a novel. So I am also looking for a good novel. Also, I agree with reading Eat, Pray, Love because it is great and finally The Other Bolyn Girl is full of sex and scandal!
I just read The Witching Hour by Anne Rice which is the first of three books in a series. This is a LONG book so be prepared! I'm reading Interview with the Vampire now by her also. I've read a few Jodi Picoult books. All of Wally Lamb books are great too.

Re: NBR: Bookworms - what's on your summer reading list?
I made the mistake of starting to read the "House of Night" series...now I'm kind of hooked. I'm not entirely sure why either..
but then again, I've reread the Harry Potter books 5-6 times each...=
These aren't all current but they are books I've read and loved recently:
"Girl with a Pearl Earring" - Tracy Chevalier
"This Much I Know Is True" - Wally Lamb
"Eat, Pray, Love" - Elizabeth Gilbert
"My Father's Secret War" - Lucinda Franks
"When You Are Engulfed in Flames" - David Sedaris
I LOVE this book and this author. Definitely read Falling Angels by her - I can't decide which one I liked more.
Right now I'm reading Pigs in Heaven by Barbara Kingsolver. Not my favorite, but her book The Poisonwood Bible is a MUST!
Besides that I'm reading a bunch of theology text books to get ready for grad school in the spring.
I was looking at my bookshelf today and I was considering reading "American Gods" next. ?I think it has been in my "to read" pile for 2 years now.
I just read "Babyville" and "LIfe Swap" both by Jane Green. ?I don't really have the patience for anything more intellectual right now.
Oooh, I will have to check out Falling Angels. I heard great things about the Poisonwood Bible, too!
Right now I'm reading Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver. Love it!
I've got Suite Francais by Irene Nemovsky waiting when that one is done.?
me too...lol
