I think it's normally used as a nn for Emerson, but Emerson is too close to Allison (our 2nd dd). WDYT of "Emmy"? Which spelling?
Also looking for any and all girl suggestions that go with Avery and Allison (no need for another A, it was never meant to be a theme). We're stumped.
Thanks!

I actually like the spelling Emmie (Emmy would be my second choice).
Have you thought about naming her Emma and calling her "Emmy" for short? I think it ages better.
I don't think either ages well.
Emme, Emma, Emily - all good alternatives that nn down to Emmie/Emmy
My first thought was of the Emmy Awards. It is a cute nickname but I don't think it ages very well.
Some sister names to Avery are Aubrey, Peyton, Ava, Mallory, Emory
Some for Allison are Natalie, Erin, Andrea, Lauren, Danielle
Don't know if any of those are your style but it might be a jumping off point - good luck!!

I love the name Emerson. It is actually our girl name if we are ever blessed with one! We wil use the nn Emmy as well. I don't think that using Emerson is that big of a deal with your other daughter's name especially if you are going to call her Emmy. All my sons have Irish meanings and Emerson surely doesn't and I don't care. If you like it go for it!!
You could always use a different form as well - Emma, Emily, Emmaline and call her Emmy!
And I like Emmy with a "y."
GL!
I definetly think there should be a longer "formal" version. Emmy (Emmie, Emmi) sounds too much like a nickname!
I think I am the only one who thinks it should be spelled Emme.
I know an Emily who goes by Emme..
Adalaide, Adrianne, Paige, Claire, Peyton, Isla, Chelsea, Sydney, Sophia, Amelia, Tess?
That is my favorite name for a girl. I would do Emerson and called her Emme. ?(pronounced Emmy)?
?
this.
This. Or Emily. Emmy doesn't seem like a legitimate full name.
