NBR: Vibes, Thoughts, Prayers Needed

Our fire department family could really use some prayers, ladies. Last night, the FD got a call for an unresponsive female. That female was the chief's wife. He came home from work and found her. The verdict is a massive heart attack.

We live in a very small community, so the FD is purely volunteer. Everyone is extremely close and pretty much family. This woman was the department "Mom". She made sure that everyone was taken care of. Everyone is pretty much lost right now without her. Please send your thoughts and prayers our way.

Other than the fact that she smoked about a pack and a half a day, she was fine. She was also in her early 60s. It was a huge shock.

::Peeks in from 3rd Tri:: I'm so sorry to hear that. DH is a Lt with the fire dept here and I know how close knit they are. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
