Pregnant after a Loss

I wish I felt pg!!

Aside from being so tired, I really wish that I had more going on to make me feel like I really am pg. Of course if you look at me, I def look pg, but I want to feel it too!!!

So of course thinking about this last night got me all nervous thinking there must be something wrong- so I busted out the doppler. I had a hb for like 10seconds and then it was gone! All I could hear was all kinds of bumps and lots of swishing, almost like splashing in the pool or tub! So I am thinking this is baby Miller moving all around in there, right?? Ugh I hate always being so worried!!

Re: I wish I felt pg!!

  • Sounds like you have a pretty active baby in there.  Wait until it starts kicking you!

  • Yeah, I'm sure baby Miller is swimming around in there while he/she still has room :) ?That's nice that you have the doppler to ease your fears a bit. ?

  • Hang in there Beth, you will have stronger kicks and movement to keep you smiling before you know it!

    Off to lay down....

  • I totally remember thinking this around 16 weeks. Once I could feel small kicks around 18 weeks, it got more real each week. Hang in there!

  • I felt the same way at 15 weeks.  You should be feeling something soon.  I think that is when it hit me.  Of course I have an anterior placenta and I had to wait just a little longer.  Once I felt those first flutters then I realized it is really happening.  My bump was a little late too, so the LO had to convince me.  GL and hang in there!
  • Please don't worry!  You'll drive yourself crazy! (This coming from a total non-worrier ;-)

  • Bethany my little guy did the same thing at that time!  He would run away from the doppler but it was still to early to feel him!  Baby Miller is doing just fine in there!  Oh, and I feel really pregnant today, so you can have some of mine!  ::sending just a little back pain to Bethany stat:: Wink
  • If I didn't have ultrasounds to prove there was three babies growing in my stomach, I wouldn't know I was pregnant.  I only have fatigue too and sometimes its not that bad.

Sorry it worries you.  I wish I had some advice, but I am the same way.
