I bought one to have on hand and try out. It looks like it would be a good bottle but you just never can tell (so I've heard) what a baby will take to and what they wont.

So this post is kinda freaky! cause I registered for them today and I was gonna go ask the 0-6 month board. They seem like they would really be great bottles. I talked to the lady that registered me and she used them with her son and LOVED them, said she never had a problem going back and forth. I plan on pumping and BFing so my husband can share in the joy of feeding our son in the middle of the night and I am excited to find something so our LO won't get lazy when he bottle feeds.

Yep. Great concept, but they seemed a little weird to me when we used them. We tried them w/ DD but she hated them! That and at the time they had (don't know about now) BPA and so I decided to return them anyway.
We used the Playtex Drop-ins with no problems switching back and forth. I BF DD for 9 months and she took her first bottle at about a week old. Of course it depends on the baby, but I think that as long as you get BF established, it won't matter what bottle you use.

My DS LOVED the boob, but I had to go back to work when he was 8 weeks. We literally tried EVERY type of bottle BRU offered, and this is the ONLY one he would take. They are nice, b/c the double nipple allows the baby to control the flow of the milk just like the breast and it is also a VERY wide nipple allowing the baby to latch just like the breast. Best advice though...if bfing, don't buy a lot of bottles. Buy one and try it before buying more. We spent so much money on bottles and never used them.
