  • You should always call your dr. if you have any kind of spotting, even slight. But I won't say that you should worry yet. A lot of women have spotting and its nothing.

  • I am not saying you should worry, but I say call your doctor today, right now rather. I was spotting on Monday and my doctor sent me for an u/s immediately - everything was great!

If nothing else, it would put your mind at ease.

  • If it's bright red and/or you're having cramping, call the doctor asap.  Other than that, I think it's pretty normal.  But, honestly, if you're worried, it can't hurt to just call.  They'll either tell you to come in if they're worried or tell you to wait until Monday.

I had spotting my first tri with DD, especially after sex, a drs exam, or if i went for long walks/runs.  I freaked out and called the ob everytime lol.  But taht's what they're there for.  If you're worried, call!

  • Call your doctor. ?I've had red spotting at 8w that meant nothing, and brown spotting at 10w that meant m/c. ?We can't really do much to help you, you need to talk to your doctor. ?Good luck.

  • I would call the dr. as well.  We are also having Twins and I had spotting at 9w 3d and the dr had us come in for an u/s...everything was fine.  Both babies are great.  My dr. said he was surprised that i haven't had more spotting.  It is apparently very common.  I call about everything...you can never be to careful.
  • I would call your doctor just so they will know what's going on and you can find out if they would like for you to come in.
  • Hi there.. I'm also pregnant with twins (currently 6w2d) and have been dealing with intermittent spotting and cramping.  I went to the ER.. they did an u/s.. everything looks ok and they see no reason for the bleeding.  They advised that as long as it doesn't get worse and isn't bright red, to try to deal with it.

Most of the info I look for online has scary outcomes to spotting, but I've actually found the majority of sites say spotting is MUCH more common in pregnancies with multiples.  That made me feel SO much better.

Good luck.. and don't ever hesitate to get it checked out if you're freaking out.  Keep us posted!!
