I'm doing it tomorrow to help w/migraines. I saw the dr today, and she perscribed 3 different medicines to help. I already feel like an old lady because I'm on 2 different meds and take a bunch of vitamins/supplements daily--I just don't want to add more stuff, so I thought I'd try the holistic approach. Anyone try it (for anything)? Results?
Re: NTR: Has anyone tried accupunctre?
ive only had it done once and it was for this super bad 2-3 day migraine i had when i was pg (it was so bad that i was driving my car one day and i didn't fully understand that i was driving, and probably SHOULDN'T have been driving lol)...afterwards, i felt like a brand new person
my chiro told me afterwards that she hadn't seen anyone be so calm about getting it...i wasn't calm about it, i was just in so much pain and couldn't move but still didn't fully realize what was going on either....i was in such a total daze those few days
I was very skeptical... but after going for a few months during my last months of pregnancy, I'm a total believer. She got rid of my aches and pains, my swollen ankles, and even threw me into labour at 39.5 weeks. I think you'll be thrilled with the results.
I did acupuncture once a week while tttc - it had so many wonderful benefits in addition to helpin w/ IF stuff.
Didn't have a migraine the whole year! And I usually get really horrible once 3-4 times a year. My psorisis also cleared up during that time. AND, I found it as relaxing as the going to the spa.
Huge thumbs up!
