Daycare day 4 = DD sick :(

I haven't even been back a week!  She's been sneezing a lot and impossible to put to sleep.  At first I thouhgt it was just her crappy napping, but I think she's got a sore throat or something :(  Ugh-- at least tomorrow is a holiday!

    DS just switched 3 weeks ago from an in home to a center and had a cold the second week he was there.  The cold is still hanging in there but luckily it hasn't put him in a bad mood,  I hope your dd gets to feeling better soon.

    poor little guy!  I'm glad he doesn't seem to mind.  She was fine until bedtime.  I gave her tylenol about 30 min ago and she seems to be sleeping now.

    Sorry...it sucks.  DS was in daycare 3 days and then hospitalized for 4 with RSV.  However...he has barely  been sick since then and that was in Jan.

    Aww, sorry! That's frustrating. But like you said, at least it's a holiday weekend. They definitely do get sick, but just think of the immunity she's building up, right? I hope she's feeling better soon.

    Poor Little...I hope she starts to feel better soon! Unfortunately, in daycare kids seem to be sick all.the.time, the good thing is that when DD once DD turned 4 she has never really been sick. I think they get it all out of their system by then!

    Maybe she got sick before she went back to daycare? I remember going to the doctor once because I was sick and he joked, "Who were you kissing 5-7 days ago?"

    Yep colds pretty much all year since the time she started going. But she rarely gets seriously sick.  Which fits with the research I've read that said children who pick up a lot of little bugs from a young age actually have stronger immune systems and are less likely to get sick when they reach school age.

    Aww, so sorry. :( DD was also sick by day 4 of day care, and she's still got a lingering runny nose.
