Texas Babies

J has been fussy all day? Ugh!

He doesn't have a fever and he doesn't nurse long when I try to give him a little extra.  He wants to be held and walked around.  This is not typical of him all day long. He seems to be soothed somewhat by sucking.  Could it be teething pain?  How do you know?

  • LOL - Something is in the air.  Sarah randomly decided she wanted to be awake from 1-4 this morning!

It could be teething, some babies are really bothered by it and others just seem to sprout them overnight.  Sarah had a low fever for about a week and wasn't eating well before she sprouted two teeth that following weekend - but wasn't really fussy nor showed any other signs.

Have you tried gas drops?  Sometimes Sarah wants to be walked around when she is gassy. =P

  • He calmed a little after I gave him a bottle (which he downed).  But after a little while he was back at the fussiness.

  • Audrey has been like that the last two days and last night cried pretty much all night, which is not normal for her at all.

Mike checked her ears, no infection. I really can't believe she would be teething so early, so I don't know what it is. I gave her some tylenol about 3am and she calmed down and went to sleep.

We are going through the exact same thing over here....I thought I was going to die yesterday...and my angel who has been sleeping through the night did NOT last night.

I am voting for a growth spurt...

No clue what's going on with Sarah!! LOL  Sorry Dawn!

  • Thankfully, he's still sleeping from 10pm to 6am, but he screams all day long.  :(
