Did you have any idea you were having twins before your doc told you? Any more serious M/S? Or feeling your baby bump earlier than expected? I have been having much worse M/S this time around and feel my bump already when laying on my stomach. I have had multiple dreams about twins also. I probably am not pregnant with twins but I cant get the thought out of my head.
Effing crazy people.
Re: Twin moms to be
I had no idea, but I did have a bigger belly. I have pretty bad nausea, but not much vomitting. I don't know how far along you are, but you'll know soon enough. I've never been pregnant though, so I had nothing to compare the experience to. My mom had twins just 6 years ago, but she was much older than I am and had already had 3 other pregnancies. Very different...
To me it was a complete surprise, honestly, and the ultrasound experience is already kind of a blur to me.
I had no idea but I did find out early, 7 weeks.
I had moderate m/s but I know alot of people who are only having one that had m/s alot worse than mine. I haven't noticed that much of a bigger bump either. So I think its impossible to go on symptoms alone.
GL at your first u/s
I was more tired than my first 2 pregnancies, but no m/s at all. The only other sign was that hubby and I both had a "feeling" it might be twins. Not seriously... but for some reason we joked about it a lot. We had to have an early u/s for some right-sided pain, and we found out there were two!
Oh, I had also had my betas drawn and in the first 48 hours they had tripled : ) By the third result, they had just a little more than doubled.
my friend krystal is having twins and her m/s has been way more extreme then regular pregnancies.
?
let us know if you end up getting twins!?
I went through IVF so I knew it was possible, but really didn't think it would happen to me. I had a pregnancy in 2008 (later had complications) but I didn't start to show until 22w. Early on this time around I could tell I was getting "thick" fast and my MS turned into all day feeling terrible sickness.
I also had a dream about twins the night before my ultrasound.
Good Luck to you!
I had no clue that I was expecting two. My first two ultrasounds only showed one baby so I didn't find out until 12 weeks. They run in my mom's family so I shouldn't be shocked but since I've never been pregnant before I had no clue what to expect. I'm not bigger or showing so I can't help ya there.
Good luck, twins are a blessing - complications are not something to be worried about, especially if you don't even know how many you're having
