In one of the locations for my company, the office staff adopted a stray cat. They took up a collection and had him fixed. He's a little sweetheart. Smalle orange, very soft. I brought my baby to see him and he was very sweet while she touched his fur.
The problem is, an employee is allergic. He's taking medication and using an inhaler but it is now aggravating other health conditions. We simply can't continue to have this cat on the premises - it's a health issue.
We can't take this cat to a shelter to be euthanized - just can't do it. The no kill shelters I have contacted are of course, totally full. I would be so tempted to take this sweet kitty home with me myself, but my husband is allergic. We adopted a rescue dog and HATE to put another pet in a shelter, but this is becoming urgent because of our employee's health and I am desperate to find this cat a home.
Anyone?
Re: Trying to find kitty a home
Good Mews is full but will post a flyer. Dr Good (where we take Molson) I haven't heard back from yet. I expect that their shelter will be full too. I HATE to send another pet to a shelter. It makes me sad. But I have to look out for the health of our employee.
DMoney will be a kickass big sister
