Anyone concerned with firework smoke while pregnant?

My sister in law is having a block party down her neighborhood for the 4th and she told me with everyone burning street fireworks, the smoke gets pretty bad every year. Should I just opt out and go see the show at the park instead? Hubby has asthma too and sometimes I need an inhaler, so I"m thinking it's best to skip it. Anyone else with concerns? I haven't heard anything about it as far as it being toxic for baby or anything like that. I mean, we breath in smog right?! lol

I think when you get there you will know if it's an issue or not. It's like like its cigarets or some weird chemical and you are outside. I would just go and if you feel its bad then leave.
