Question for those who are Dairy Free

My DD is a spitter and will get up an hour or 2 after she goes to sleep after a feeding and fuss then burps or spits up. Why did you decide to cut dairy out of your diet, was it due to you LO being fussy? Thanks!!

  • Okay that is what I thought...I am going to try it and see what happens. I can not believe that means giving up icecream this summer, but it is worth it!! Thanks ladies :)

  • Eh, eh ,eh, not so fast. You CAN have ice-cream...made from coconut milk. It's delish and tastes just as good as the real thing!

  • I agree with the pp!  I had to cut out dairy as well (and I'm a vegetarian) and just tried coconut based ice cream last weekend (Simply Decadent I think was the brand) and it was soooo delicious.  I had the coconut flavor, but they come in like 7 different varieties.  It was almost better than regular ice cream.

  • Try elevating your LO after she eats.  Mine slept in her papasan chair because she would do the same as your LO and she slept much longer elevated.  Now, she sleeps 5-6 hours at night in her Nap Nanny.  That being said, I also cut out raw dairy.
