PIP: my kids first shiner

yesterday we were at my moms apartment and chloe slipped, hit her head on the left side and had a giant goose egg on her  forehead. I felt so terrible and have been giving her tons of extra hugs. Then today my mom took my sister and her boys and chloe and i out to lunch, when we went to leave everyone walked ahead of us since chloe is a slow walker.i was carrying the diaper bad, my purse and a to-go box so She took my hand and i was helping her down the steps and she sort of slipped and her hand slid off of mine,and she went tumbling down the 2 cement steps in front of applebees. She caught the corner of her right eye on the edge of the step and now she has her first black eye, talk about making me feel like a horrible mommy.

people are going to start thinking that i beat her.
