Anyone Have Elevated Estradiol But Normal FSH (CD3)?

I just had my second round of CD3 b/w and my FSH was nice and low (4.1) but my E2/estradiol was 79.  When I had CD3 b/w in Dec. it was 53.  The nurse said 79 was slightly elevated - she said they like to see it under 60 - but suggested re-testing it and if I wanted to coming in for a consult, which I'm doing next week.  I'm concerned b/c I know that elevated E2 on CD3 can cause falsely low FSH levels.  Now I'm worried about DOR...I'm only 29!  Did anyone have any experience with this?  If so, how did it affect TTC for you?

Thanks!

Re: Anyone Have Elevated Estradiol But Normal FSH (CD3)?

  • An elevated E2 on CD 3 may indicate DOR as it means that you probably started to grow a new follicle before you even got your period. You should repeat it on CD 2 for an accurate result.
