Heartburn

Baby is engaged, dropped, whatever you want to call it -- super low because I have more of an appetite, I breathe better, and I pee ALOT but I still have really bad heartburn.  So bad, it feels like the acid is burning holes in my throat.  I have had milk, taken a nexium, and still .. no relief.  Really?  Am I giving birth to a werewolf??

Re: Heartburn

  • I have found that Pepsid AC chewables works well for me.

Good luck!  I hope you find some relief soon!

  • Same here... he dropped 2 weeks ago and I still have unbearable heartburn.  Zantac works for a little while....
  • Tums do crap for me but Zantac150 really are a godsend.. prilosec is more of a long term solution that isn't as effective for instant relief.
  • Vanilla milkshakes. I swear by them.
  • Same here.  Zantac 150 with a side of Tums a couple hours later works for me.

Mmmmm, now I want a milkshake...

  • Has alot to do with hormones per my GI specialist so even when they drop may still have.  It sucks!

ps.  Funny you say vanilla shake, yesterday my dr recommended vanilla ice cream so i was thinking of a shake.
