I like #2 but because kids are going to color and be rough I would probably say that the darker wood is probably a better choice. If you have an IKEA by you they have some really reasonably priced ones as well.

I like #3 because it is gender neutral and white is hard to keep clean. I do like #6 for a girl though.

i love 6 for a girl. i wouldn't get a solid white one.

i would get the dark one otherwise.

I'd go with the most natural wood possible. I have white painted cabinets and Adam bashes everything into them when he's zooming by and they're all chipped. So anything painted would be out for me, at least for those prices. This table will get beat up, so I'd probably go for #6, just because of the price.
