How are those 2nd birthday's coming??

I havent done a thing :(  I thought I had decided on a carnival theme but now Im thinking maybe I should save it for a year or 2, maybe she'd enjoy it more...Nothing too crazy just simple toddler games, bean bag toss, ball tosses, bottle "bowling", etc.  It woul dbe very involved, to go that route, so if I commit to it, I gotta go all out....maybe I should do something simpler?!?  Problem is I have NO idea about a venue....no room at home, we did a park/pavillion last year (prob end up doing that again)....trying to think of something ELSE!

What about you?

    So far so good.  We are doing Dora the Explorer Fiesta Theme.  My MIL is making the main food. And we will have rice, beans, taquitos, corn on the cobb with the fixins, chips and salsa and maybe a 7 layer dip.  I am also going to make a mexican style mac n cheese.  The party will be at my house, only if we get our backyard completed.  We did some contruction a year ago and the backyard is the thing to finish.  I will know end of this week if we can have it there.  If not, then I'm going to ask her godparents if we can use their backyard.

    We have all of the decorations already and most of the supplies. (cups/plates etc) We will start buying up food next week.  We are going to be done with the party before the 1st of Aug.  That way when it gets here we only have to decorate.
