Halo swaddle sleep sack - if you used when lo was a NB....

What did you use when he got too long for it?  Halo doesn't seem to make the swaddle in larger sizes & I have a tall baby who has outgrown it already!!  I tried the snug & tug blanket last night & he was up every two hrs for the first time in a week, I think b.c it wasn't as snug as the halo!!!  When we use receiving blankets he is out in no time!!!

    at that point, we just stopped swaddling him for bed.  I think at that point he was ready to be done with it anyway, because we had no problems.  That was at about 10 weeks.

    We actually still use the swaddle part with the larger sleepsack!  It still works perfectly even though it's not velcro'd to the back.  We just spread out the swaddle, place her (in her sleepsack) in the middle, and swaddle her really tight like usual.  Works great!

    we started using the miracle blanket when the Halo got too small.  you can opt to leave their feet in or out of the pouch.

    I am bummed - I was at the store Monday torn between the miracle blanket & the snug and tug, and the sales person talked me into the snug & tug, which obviously is not working for my little guy....oh well.

    We started using a crib sheet, and are still doing that now. It was the only thing we had that was big enough that he wouldn't kick out of it. We're starting to wean LO off the swaddle, though, now.
