When does/did your 1st tri BLOAT go away?

I'm not talking the 'i can't wear my wedding ring' bloat - - -I'm talking the 'it's 5pm & while this morning I didn't look pg at all - now I look 4 months pg!!!'

When does it end? I was in terrible pain yesterday & my belly felt like an extremely full basketball!!!!

from what i have read it seems to ease up after the first trimester is over.

YOGA!!!! Another great reason to get back to it! Thanks for the advice... I do have to start that up again : )

And - yes - mine is SO much worse at night. It starts around 4pm & it's horrible till I sleep. Then I wake up with a flat belly Embarrassed

sorry but now i can't help but think you must be farting a lot in your sleep i had an ultrasound yesterday and tech commented a few times on how much gas i had! she even had me press on my belly in hopes it would move it out of the way. i asked "what if it comes out?" she said it wouldn't but of course some did, this was while she had the probe in me so i essentially farted on her hand.

Mine is so much worse at night then in the morning. At night I'll be standing in the shower and look down and I can't see my whole feet, just the toes. LoL, it's nuts.

Hahaha- some of the responses are cracking me up!! Especially about farting on the u/s tech's hand! hehe

My poor husband doesn't know what to think about me any more. Sometimes we'll be walking, sitting, or whatever and some gas will just slip right out... hehe poor guy just laughs and shakes his head. It really is hard to control!! SCARY!!! I don't want to do that in public!!

I'm normally not one to laugh at bodily functions, but this is probably the funniest thing I've heard in a while. Guess I need to get out more.

this is exactly what happens to me! in the morning the bloat is pretty flat and at night it's huge!!?

TOTALLY farting in my sleep!~ That's why I added the Embarrassed face! lol... I guess it's the best place to do it... Since nobody can witness it : )

Well, I'm now just a few weeks away from being out of the first tri and it hasn't gone away yet. Unfortunately mine doesn't come and go....it' there 24/7 =(

The bloating still comes and goes for me. And while we're sharing embarrasing stories, here's one... In church last Sunday, I kept having to burp (the other side of pregnancy gas). I thought they were little tiny barely noticeable ones, but DH would stare at me every time. He teased me afterwards, and I said I thought they weren't that noticeable, and he said, oh no they were totally loud. How embarrasing!
