Pregnant after a Loss
was in L&D all night..(long story-short)
hi girls. Im home and exhausted. I went to the ER last night due to numbness in my left arm and feet, my chest then got super tight (due to worrying i think) and my stomach felt like it was going to explode. The ER sent me up to L&D right after my EKG where I was monitored all through the night/morning. I was having contractions so they gave me a shot to help stop them...kate was insanely busy last night. wow. my contractions wouldnt stop so they had to do a lovely pelvic exam and take a swab to see if i was going in pre-term labor. They also ordered an u/s to check on kate and my cervix. had a normal u/s and then an internal. Ahh. She looks great, getting soo big. The only thing is she is head down and pushing on my cervix...bad kate! they finally got everything under control and kate finally went to sleep. she is back at it this morning but i feel a whole heck of a lot better. ah. so good to be home. reality hit us so hard last night thinking we will be back within the next 10-15 weeks to have her. wow. talk about overwhelming when you arent ready for it yet! its going to be a quiet day at home...

When I checked this morning, I saw your posts from last night and I was worried about you! I am glad everything is going well, and it is always good to be home!!!
Did they ever figure out the numbness issues?

Wow... so you went in for a numb arm and you turned out to be having contractions??
I'm glad everything is okay and you're home.
