Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

NTR: This weather is going to be the death of me.

Any other Massachusetts ladies on the verge of a weather-induced breakdown?  It's July 1st, and I'm wearing a sweater.  I can't take it anymore.  I'm out of rainy day activities, and today it's thundering, so we can't even go out and splash in the puddles.  I think I have to move.

  • I'm in RI but yeah we're going thru a deluge right now. I'm excited she's up actually so she can see it and see me not worrying about it and hopefully she won't be afraid in the future :) I do however have our flashlights at the ready.........I'm NOT looking forward to losing power at all. I HATE that idea.

    ugh.

  • Yes, I'm DYING. This is my first week of summer vacation and it's such a bust. We are heading down the Cape this afternoon and I'm still upset that it rained all Memorial Day weekend when I was there as well.

DS and I are going stir crazy. I can't take it anymore.

  • Oh and we haven't gotten a lick of thunder to make it worthwhile (I really love daytime thunderstorms).

  • I know, MrsKelly.  I hope they're wrong about the forecast for the next week.  I'm having such a hard time not being a total grump, but the gloomy weather is really getting to me.

Losing power would suck, but a really good thunderstorm might actually cheer me up right now :)

  • I'm MA too--between my frizzy hair and watching all the cute summer outfits still hanging in DD's closet, I'm done.  We just got back from the library.....it was mobbed w/kids.  I'm so tired of being in the house.....

  • I am MISERABLE!

We have a tiny condo in the city and the only way we survive is by getting out of the house and we haven't been able to!

I was looking forward to going to the park and walking around the neighborhood this summer and so far it's been a total bust :(

  • Ahhhhh, that sounds like heaven!  It has been 95+ here for more than a month and I am already sick of summer. I guess we always want what we don't have.
  • If it makes you feel any better, I was working in snow for most of the day yesterday. Yes, snow.

On the up side, I haven't had to shave my legs in forever Stick out tongue

  • If it makes you feel any better ... it's 103* here in Dallas and effing MISSERABLE outside.  A sweater actually sounds kind of cozy right now  :)

  • Thanks for the perspective, ladies of TX and Canada!  We had rain almost every day in June and the forecast looks bleak, but I'll try not to let it get to me :)
  • I hate, hate, hate it and my vacation is over at the end of the week and I am so bummed :(
