A story for the baby book!

Gracie has been saying the word "duck" for about a month now even though I'm not sure why she picked up the word since she's only seen ducks a handful of times.  She calls almost everything "duck."  Well, last night, she was babbling and it sounded like she said "d*ck."  DH's name is Nick and I think she is trying to say Nick (since she hears me say it all the time).  Of course, we cracked up so she thought it was funny and kept saying it over and over.  I took her to Meijer today to do some grocery shopping and she was trying to reach for something in the back of the cart.  She got frustrated and started yelling d*ck, d*ck, d*ck really loud.  I got the worst looks from the old ladies who were around me.  I didn't have a pacifier with me (she usually only gets one when she sleeps) and she wouldn't stop saying it!  LOL

    Too funny!  You never know what might come out of their little mouths.  I would definitely save that story.  She will LOVE when you tell it over and over when she is a teenager!

    We had something similar happen at Target this weekend.  Fork doesn't sound like fork if you catch my drift and he seen some of those gerber toddler forks and started screaming, F*ck F*ck... I was so embarassed.  At least it was a dad in the aisle instead of an old lady.  I think the dad thought it was funny.
