My purse was stolen, so I had to get a new license. I loved my picture , so I was so sad but now I have a 8 month pregnancy photo..yeah! At least people might think I really lost weight since my photo...

Bummer! Here in WI you can get a duplicate ID for $4 (I have lost my ID several times). Sometimes I would get a new picture and sometimes I wouldn't. Not sure how it is in NY, but if your picture is horrible maybe you can get a new one in a few months.

haha if I were you I'd claim I lost it after you have the baby and go get another one made. When I use my ID people look at me, I was really tiny in my picture, and well now not so much lol

I know how you feel I went through that with my DS and I "hate" my picture. I heard you can go at a later time and pay extra to have it changed.

This happened to me too! I was 38 wks along when I realized, 'oh crap! I need a renewal!' Mine expired on the 31st of March...I went into labor on the 27th. During my pregnacny I tended to procrastinate a lot. AFTER I got the tired, puffy faced version of me done, I found out that I could have gotten a temporary until after I delivered.

I may be a little behind you, but I feel your pain and had to take mine last week. Needless to say, not to proud of that pic!

Now what I'm really dreading is my brother-in-laws wedding at the end of July that I am a bridesmaid in. Can't wait to see those family photos!

wow, i am stuck on the fact that you have to go to the mva/dmv at 7 months. having a photo shoot just adds insult to injury. sorry. you know, in five years you may feel attached to that picture for the same reason that it annoys you now. i might?

I'm hoping they'll let me keep my picture - I'm due for a new license in September and that's when baby is due!! My picture is only five years old and it was taken right after my honeymoon. I was svelte and tan - it is the best picture taken of me - ever!
