FF says my due date is 1/18/10 based on the fact that it shows I ovulated on day 24. I told my doctor about this today & she asked how long most of my periods were and I said, it depended (I was only off BCP a few months) anywhere from 29-35 days. She then said it "didn't make sense that I would ovulate on day 24 and get my period so soon because most people get their period 14 days after ovulation". Everything I have read says it depends and many people get their period 10 days after. This was what happened to me- my LP wasn't really long and I would get AF 10 days after FF showed I ovulated. So, she puts my EDD at 1/9/10.... I won't have an ultrasound until 18-20 weeks.
I know that is only a week and a half different but as far as telling other people, reading, ticker, etc. what would you go with FF's EDD or the one the doctor is going by?
Re: Which Due Date Would You Go By?
If you are sure that is the day you ovulated, I'd go with that.
I had my first u/s this morning and it matches exactly based on O date but would've been a week off if we were going by LMP
I'd tell people I was due in mid-January.

That is what I have said so far to the people we have told.
Use your date. In all likelihood, once they finally do an ultrasound, the doc's date will match yours a lot closer.
Since there's some confusion, maybe you could request a dating ultrasound?
