What to use for cranky, sleepless babies?

Someone suggested chamomile to me for my baby so I was looking at the local health food store and found something called Baby Zzz's that has some chamomile in it.

Anybody use this or anything similar?

I use the boob, but it's kind of backfiring now. He loves it too much. ;0)

My ergo.. oh how we loved my ergo when dd would be up for 8hrs and scream for 4+ of them.

I haven't tried that, but maybe some lavendar and chamomile together? I also second a carrier and the breast. Although DS still won't sleep without it.
