Does your baby have or use a pillow?

DD has been using her stuffed animals as pillows. I'm wondering when it's okay to let her have one.

No (ETA- I mean "no, DD doesn't have one" not "No your DC shouldn't have one")and I'm not sure when they should have one. I remember when I worked at a daycare some of the 1.5-2 yo's had them.

I've been wondering the same thing.  I think within the next couple months we'll get her a small pillow and see if she likes it.

I think 2 years is the recommendation.

We have a bolster style pillow in DS's crib.  He doesn't lay his head  on it but we used it to put behind his back so he would stay on his side.

We're going to get Sammy one soon - I would not give one to a baby at all

Yeah, I guess I suck.  She has a regular-sized pillow that I prop next to her at night.  She likes to hug it or turn her back to it - I think she thinks it's one of us since she used to co-sleep with us.

DD does not have one and I think I remembered the recommendation as being 2 years also, but not sure.
