Can you believe we are planning 1st birthday parties?!? This year has flown by. I love seeing all Brenna's pictures, she is a beautiful baby! I also love reading your updates on her. Gracie is almost walking, but only says dada, dog and duck. Only dada and dog mean anything to her... everything else is "duck." LOL Isn't it amazing how differently they develop yet they are exactly the same age?! Good luck with all your planning!

I absolutely cannot believe it has been a year. It amazes me to watch Brenna learn new things knowing that she was still a baby bump this time last year. We have felt so blessed with every moment. We are keeping her party very low key and immediate family and friends only. I am having fun picking out the theme and planning for it. Have you decided what you are doing for Gracie's party? She is so cute!
I agree that it is fascinating how different development is for each baby. Brenna has been very chatty and interactive socially, but lazy physically. She is just now showing an interest in getting herself up and moving.
My SIL is a wonderful baker and asked if she could make Gracie's first birthday cake. She is making her cake in the shape of a cupcake, so we've just kind of went from there with the theme. I'm trying not to spend too much money (so I can spend it on her presents!) but it adds up fast! We should be moved in our new home right before her birthday so I'm looking for some good outdoor toys for her. I cannot wait to have a yard she can play in! What theme did you decide on for Brenna's party?
Congrats on the new home! That is so exciting. It really is nice to have a yard and imagine them growing up and playing there. Have fun getting settled in and decorating.
I haven't settled on a theme yet, but I am using this website for ideas.

I see several themes I love. It will be girly, that is all I know.
