Crib Bedding

in 2nd Trimester

I'm looking for something DIFFERENT.  I'd like it to be neutral, but we could go one way (as soon as we find out the sex).  I'm over the Winnie the Poohs, teddy bears, and butterflies at Babies R Us.  Websites are best for me b/c we live out in the middle of nowhere.

Has anyone made their own bedding? I was thinking about it, but I'm worried about safety (IDK if I want that responsibility looming over my head every time I put my baby down).  THANKS!

    I'm making my own (Beatrix Potter/ Peter Rabbit).  A mommy just posted a wonderful unique website not too long ago... the thread says something about "Gender neutral vintage bedding"

    I don't see how it wouldn't be safe. It's just a piece of fabric. But I may be forgetting something? I am a sucker for dino and animal prints. I hope you find something you like.

    I haven't ever made bedding for cribs...but I found that Ebay has a ton of different options!

    I am buying fitted sheets (too lazy to make them) but my mom and I are collaborating on bedding.  She's going to crochet a breathable bumper and I'm making a cornice and bedskirt that will bring everything together
