I think tomorrow may be DD's las nursing session :(

We are down to one in the morning... I really don't think she is getting much and it recently started getting really painful. Since she is turning 11 months I thought that would be a nice number to be done at but I honestly wish I had enough to keep going :(.?

For those who stopped... how did you do it? did you wait until your LO refused the boob or did you just stop offering??

    DD doesn't seem even close to stopping. She even "snacks" during the day sometimes and she hasn't done that in months.  I don't know when we'll stop. It makes me sad just thinking about it.

    I am where you are at. He nursed one time today. He is getting breastmilk in a bottle until he is 1 though. (We will mix it with whole milk in a few weeks)

     I'm so sad! I am going to miss it terribly.

    I weaned DD at a year.  I would replace a nursing session with EBM that I had frozen.  Then after a while I would substitute whole milk and part EBM....then we eventually went to all whole milk. 

    Also, when I weaned DD, she only nursed before bed.  Everything else was in a sippy cup.

    We were down to once in the morning and once in the evening until last Friday.  She bit me hard both in the morning and the evening so I decided to be done.  My DD is a little over 11 months.  I am kind of sad about it as I wasn't quite ready for it - I had no idea that last Thursday was our last nuring session.  I have had engorgement since then and some leaking.  The right side is worse because that side always made more milk.  I just wish I could skip this part and just be done.  It has been a little tough on her too - she didn't seem to care the first couple of days but last night and tonight have been rough.  I almost went back to nursing last night because she woke up in the middle of the night and wouldn't calm down.  But I didn't want to have to go through this all over again and part of me was ready to be done.  Good luck!
