Am I mean

in Babies on the Brain

DH decided to go back to grad school because he works for a university and they pay for it, so he applied and got rejected because his B.S. GPA was too low. 

 Now on to the mean part....I really don't feel bad for him.  He drank his way through college and is now reaping the rewards.  I think if he had his heart set on going back or if it was necessary for his line of work I would feel differently, am I biitch of a wife?

    but have you actually told him something? that would probably be mean because maybe he regrets it now.

    No, I didn't say anything about it.  I just told him that was too bad and that maybe enough time hadn't past between when he recieved his B.S. in 2005 and now.

    Meh, I'm sure he already knows that, no need to say it.  If you're just thinking it, that's fine, but don't say anything.

    Can he retake any of his undergrad classes to get a higher grade?  I have some friends who got into pharmacy school after first being rejected by retaking some bio and chem... they too had grown up after partying through school and reaped their reward...

    No, you are fine.  Sounds like you said the right things.  If it were my DH I would be thinking the same thing too.
