Cleaning w/o bleach

I hate these products! I love using bleach. I need to clean the toilets and I think I am just gonna use the bleach. The others dont kill germs so what is the point? Id ask H but I am laid off right now so I feel bad asking him to do housework when I am home all day.

What are you ladies doing to clean?

Right now I am using my same products. I wear thick rubber gloves and a mask.

I use and have been using Vinegar/Water mix and baking soda. I use the vinegar water on everything. Google it. Works great, non toxic. I recommend it.

I use the Clorox toilet wands for my toilets. They work great.

Does it kill bacteria?

From the little research I've done...yes it does kill bacteria.

I was just talking with my mom about this because i'm having the same problem. She suggested using Hydrogen Peroxide... it kills bacteria and has no real odor.

Vinegar kills most mold, mildew and bacteria. It is a deoderizer, and does a great job. I use it on everything from the stove, counters, windows, toilets, in the washing machine and on the floors.
