It's on Obese Children and the mom doesn't seem to be hearing anything Dr Phil has to say. ?I see it is from 2003. ?Is there any sort of update at the end? I want to know what happened!!

    I have no idea if it was the same episode or not, I think he does these obese children shows from time to time.

    But, a few years ago, maybe it was '06?.. I remember he did an "Updates show" on memorable guests, and one of the guests was a little boy who had been on one of those obese children shows!

    After the show aired, his dad (his parents were divorced) saw the show and got full custody. The kid had gone from WAY overweight to just barely chubby. He looked normal. 

    Again... no idea if it's the same kid or not, a little boy with dark hair. But anyway, nice heartwarming story for us all regardless. ;)

    wow, it WAS the boy whose father was awarded custody. ?Goes to show you that it was not a medical issue and his mom was the enabler. ?so sad, but a happy ending.
